As Managing Partner and 41% owner of Alvarez & Associates, Brendan Reilly played a pivotal role in leading the firm’s effort to bid on the NASA Solutions for Enterprise Wide Procurement (SEWP) IV contract, a highly competitive Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) valued at $5.6 billion. Brendan spearheaded the comprehensive bid preparation process, navigating through hundreds of submissions. His exceptional leadership and meticulous attention to detail culminated in Alvarez’s submission being selected as the number one proposal, securing one of only 37 Prime Contract Holder positions awarded. At the time of award, Alvarez was a four person Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Brendan’s partner in the business was Everett Alvarez Jr. the former Deputy Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs and the longest held prisoner of war in American history.

Following the contract award, Brendan established a dedicated contract office and assembled a high-performing team capable of supporting and expanding the firm’s operations under the SEWP IV contract. His strategic vision and operational acumen enabled the team to scale rapidly, achieving more than $100 million in annual sales within just 24 months. The firm was able to win the re-compete of SEWP V contract and has deliver over $700 million in contracts since the initial award. This remarkable growth trajectory underscores Brendan’s capability to drive significant business development and operational excellence in a competitive federal contracting environment.
