The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is a key component of the U.S. Department of Defense, responsible for developing, testing, and deploying advanced missile defense systems to protect the United States and its allies from ballistic missile threats. The MDA’s mission encompasses the integration of land, sea, air, and space-based systems to detect, track, and intercept enemy missiles during various phases of flight. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and collaborating with international partners, the MDA aims to enhance national security and provide a robust defense against evolving missile threats, ensuring the safety and stability of the nation.
As part of a Defense Department contract award, Brendan worked with MDA leadership to design, development and deployment of a secure, fully redundant data management and storage infrastructure in support of the MDA. As the President of Storage Area Networks Government Business and CTO of SANZ Brendan served as the Project Manager and Executive Sponsor for the MDA contract and follow-on service agreements.
